The Extended Day Ahead Market (EDAM) has been in operation since May 1. While it appears that most things are going well, the panel will give a perspective on market performance after a period of summer operations and share any insights into this new market before it expands further.

Resource Adequacy (RA) is tough to get right. It must work both from a commercial perspective and from a oversight perspective. What steps in the two competing designs in the West are being taken to make sure that participants are not counting the same megawatts to meet their needs? Are the incentives lined up to make sure reliability is served as well as meeting future needs?
